remember me? I have been a sh@#$y blogger and I am sorry. I haven’t had a whole lot to say I guess. Or maybe I should say I haven’t felt like sharing. I have had a lot going on this year. Some good some bad. I haven’t done well on the weight loss front. I can’t get back into it. I have had trouble getting myself mentally back in the game.
Long and short of it at the beginning of the year I found out I was pregnant. Yay! I couldn’t exercise because it made me nauseated. I gained weight. In March I had a miscarriage and I gained weight. At first I jumped back into exercise because it made me feel good. I tried to do to much to fast and I ended up hurting myself over and over again. Quite frankly I am not doing as well mentally as I let people think I am. I am still sad and I still want to cry. I know I need to cut myself some slack here but I can’t do that. I don’t know why. I know my body has been through a lot this year but I know where I was 2 years ago. I had lost 93 pounds and now I have gained like 30 if not more. I refuse to get on the scale.
I don’t know how to get me back. I miss the old me. I know I’m not going to ever be the same but I need to stop dealing with it all by eating whatever. That just makes me even more upset really. I don’t expect anyone to give me answers because honestly it’s something I need to work through but I just wanted to get it out there. Maybe this is the first step.

Hello everyone. I hope you are having a great day. I ran 5 miles on Sunday and did the elliptical for 32 minutes yesterday. I’m not sure whats on tap for tonight. I hope running but it depends on how DH feels. If he is still feeling bad I will just stay home and take care of Emily and do a dvd after she goes to bed.
In other news I went to the doctor for a blood draw this morning. I am having my vitamin D, B-12 and thyroid checked. I hope to have the results by Friday. It seems vitamin B-12 deficiency runs on my mom’s side of the family. My mom, uncle, aunt and grandma all have to take shots. Mom and my uncle have to take 2 a month so it’s good info to have. I have been feeling very fatigued for a long time and have had headache issues as well. Hopefully something will come of it all.
I hope you all have a great day. Just about a week and half to the Run the Bluegrass Half and 5k! I am only doing the 5k but it’s my first race in a really long time.

I haven’t blogged in a long time. Sorry I haven’t had much exciting on my mind to put down on screen. The past couple weeks have been pretty difficult. I had a miscarriage and it has been very hard on me emotionally. It took us 7 months to get pregnant and to lose that baby was a surprise. I had no clue there was a problem. I just went in for my first appointment at 9w 1d and things were off. Went back 5 day later and things were worse.
The things that have kept me going. My beautiful 2 1/2 year old Emily. She doesn’t let you dwell on things for long. She has been the best medicine. My supportive loving husband. Without Casey I would be lost. Wonderful friends you have been there for me. Lastly I threw myself back into a workout routine. That has helped a lot. The running and other workouts have made me feel normal. Even if it is temporary it’s been incredibly helpful.
Before I new I was pregnant I had signed up to run a half marathon on June 4th. Well I had decided not to run it since I would have been 2o+ weeks at that point and working out in general made me want to throw up. Well now I am going to run it in honor of my lost little angel cake. I am signed up to run on a team and our team name is cupcake chasers 2. We all gave ourselves cupcake names and mine was Cherry Bomb but I have decided to be Angel Cake instead. I might not run it fast and I may have to walk part of it but I will finish it for my baby.

Sorry to have been gone so long but I had some other issues going on. Any way last night was my last night with my trainer : ( and the session wasn’t my best because of a stupid cold. I still pushed and worked hard. I have lost 2% body fat in the last 4 weeks as well as an inch off of all my measurements except my bicep which I gained an inch. That all makes me happy.

That pretty much sums it up. My workout today was blah. I have a headache and my nose still hurts where Emily head butted me in the nose yesterday. Hopefully tomorrows run goes better.

I had a great workout today. I did an 8 minute warm up on the Arc did my super set weights and extra weight machine. After that I did some abs and pushups. Finished up with rowing a mile. It felt great! Tomorrow I am hoping for a nice long run. I hope you all have a wonderful day and weekend.

Good morning. Last night was another great workout with Wade. We did kickboxing and some boot camp style exercises. Tonight will be a run if my knee is feeling up to it. Other than that not much exciting to say.

Good morning friends. Last night I ran 5.25 mile at 12:36/mile pace. It was an improvement over the last time I ran this route so that makes me happy. Tonight I have another session with my personal trainer. Hopefully I can walk tomorrow! I’m kinda bummed that my sessions will soon be over and I can’t afford to buy more. At least I have learned some stuff!

Good morning everyone. Yesterday I just ended up doing 30 minute interval workout on the Arc Trainer. I needed to get home and make dinner so time was limited. Tonight will be a run of who knows how many miles and then some abs. Not to exciting but it’s a workout. Back to work today. Have a good everyone!

Good morning all! Sorry I was away over the weekend but I am back. It was a lot of bad eating and no exercising so back to it today. The plan for the the day is weights and abs. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
